Rimeco Products Named a Top U.S. Machine Shop

Somerset, New Jersey — Rimeco Products has been named one of four Honors Program winners in association with Modern Machine Shop’s annual Top Shops benchmarking survey.

Modern Machine Shop offers this annual survey to enable its audience — owners and managers of U.S. computer numerical control (CNC) machine shops — to compare their operations’ performance and practices against industry leaders. The survey is divided into four primary sections: machining technology, shopfloor practices, business strategies and human resources. An Honors Program winner is chosen for each of these categories, and Rimeco Products was named 2020 Honors Program winner for Business Strategy.

“Each year, Honors Program winners are vetted and selected by me from a top-tier benchmarking group established from answers to select survey questions,” says Matt Danford, Modern Machine Shop’s senior editor. “Rimeco owes much of its success to making itself indispensable for customers by tailoring its manufacturing process to a specific subset of difficult work. A machining business that markets products of its own invention also struck me as unusual.”

“Quote/statement from you about how important data management/robotics is to your operation, what winning the award means for you and your employees, etc.”

Rimeco Products will also be part of Modern Machine Shop’s “Shop Talk” educational series. Running each Tuesday in October through IMTS spark, the program dives into the Top Shops data to identify key success drivers for job shops and offers insight from shop owners and Top Shops Honorees on how they have improved as a shop and grown their business.
